Church Furniture

This set of furniture was designed and crafted for a parish church in Horsham – St Leonard’s has the distinction of being called ‘the most architecturally significant church-building in the town’.  Built in 1939, broadly Art Nouveau, it was undergoing a refurbishment.  I was asked to design a new font, lecterns and tables for the front of the sanctuary, using wood from the original pews.
